About
Fifth generation on this coast.
I sell land on the Big Island because I grew up working it. That’s the whole pitch.

I'm a fifth-generation Hamakua farmer. I came up in my family's tropical foliage business, which is where I learned what makes one piece of land worth more than the one next to it. Soil depth. Where the water comes from. Whether a truck can get in during the rain. What the county will actually let you build.
Since 2021 I've closed over $81 million in Big Island real estate, most of it land and agricultural property on the east side. I'm an eXp ICON Agent and was named one of eXp Realty Hawaii Island's 2026 Top Performers.
I also develop. Right now that's a ten-lot subdivision on Chin Chuck Road in Hakalau, taken from survey through county approval to closing, plus a farm and event property and an affordable housing project in the works. When you ask me whether a parcel can be split, or what a state right-of-way purchase costs, or how long Planning really takes, I'm answering from files I'm living in.
I've been to more than 35 countries and I still think this stretch of coast is the best land on earth. That's not a sales line. It's why my family is still here after five generations.

Experience
Three jobs, one market.
As an agent
- Over $81.6 million closed since 2021 across 128 represented transaction sides.
- Top 2 of 591 agents for East Hawaii land volume over the trailing five years.
- eXp ICON Agent and a 2026 eXp Realty Hawaii Island Top Performer.
- Most of my listing side is vacant and agricultural land, averaging around $700,000 per listing.
As a developer
- Chin Chuck Road, Hakalau. A ten-lot subdivision I took from survey through county approval.
- Phase 1 is six lots and is selling now. Phase 2 needs a state right-of-way purchase, which is in with DLNR.
- A farm and event property on the Hamakua Coast, in subdivision application.
- An affordable housing project at Akaka Falls targeting 68 units with grant and government funding.
As an owner
- I own and operate short-term rentals on both sides of the island through DJS Real Estate Management.
- I run the books on them, so I can tell you what a property nets after cleaning, channel fees, GET and TAT.
- When I price an income property for you, the numbers come from operating one, not from a spreadsheet.
Where I work
Hawaii Island.
I’m strongest on the east side, from Honokaa down through Puna. I sell in Kona too, and I own property on both coasts.
